Banoffee Calzone with Chocolate and Biscuit

Ingredients

(for 1 calzone)

For the calzone:
1 package KANAKI PIZZA Dough
3 tbsp milk caramel (approx.)
1-1/2 banana (depending on the size), in slices, smeared with a little lemon juice
100 gr couverture chocolate, minced
3 tbsp petit beurre biscuits, in powder
1 egg, lightly beaten with 2 tbsp milk
3 tbsp almond fillet

Preparation - Steps

For the calzone:
Open the pizza pastry in a baking pan together with its baking sheet, smear half the pastry surface with the caramel, sprinkle with the chocolate and biscuit; spread the bananas evenly and seal with the other half sheet.
Press the edges with your fingers to seal it well and “pinch” them, so as to form a uniform finish.
Smear with the egg mixture, sprinkle with the almond and bake in a preheated oven at 220oC, for approx. for 20 - 25 min, until the calzone is baked and turns golden brown.
Leave it aside for 10 min to cool down and serve with 1 ball vanilla ice cream.

Note
You can find the milk caramel ready-made at the supermarket, or you can buy sweetened condensed milk and boil it in water, in its can and without its paper, for 1 ½ -2 hr.
You can also find caramelized milk in specific stores (grocery stores) in Athens.
