Sweet Bites with Cream and Chocolate Glaze

Ingredients

For 32 bites:
1 package KANAKI SHORTCRUST Pastry
400 gr. readymade hazelnut cream
For the chocolate glaze:
240 gr. minced couverture chocolate
120 gr. butter
30 gr. glucose

Preparation - Steps

Prepare the sweet bites according to the instructions, place them in a shallow baking pan and bake them in a preheated oven at 180˚C for approx. 40 min. Once they are baked, pour the chocolate glaze on top and let them cool down, for the glaze to thicken.
For the glaze: Mix the couverture chocolate, butter and glucose, and melt au bain marie. Once they melt, stir the mixture and remove from the fire.

For the Sweet bites:
Open 1 shortcrust pastry sheet on the kitchen worktop and spread the hazelnut cream on top.
Cover it with the second pastry sheet.

Carve the sheets into 4 vertical and 8 horizontal parts.
