Puff Pastry Roll with Sugar and Cinnamon

Ingredients

For the Puff Pastry:
1 KANAKI PUFF Pastry sheet
1 egg
2 tbsp milk

For the stuffing:
2 tbsp butter (melted)
2 tbsp sugar
¾ tbsp cinnamon
2 ½ tbsp hazelnuts, ground

Preparation - Steps

Lay the KANAKI PUFF Pastry sheet on a surface, smear with the melted butter, sprinkle with the cinnamon, sugar and ground hazelnut, and fold into a roll from the large side.
Then, cut the roll in the middle and each half roll vertically from one side until a little before the end of the other edge, forming 2 strips.
Braid the 2 strips and then close the 2 edges into a roll.
Place the roll in a baking pan. Smear with the egg and milk mixture (lightly beaten) and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C, for approx. for 35 - 40 min, until the pastry is baked and turns golden brown.
