Ingredients
1 package KANAKI PUFF Pastry
200 gr. raisins
200 gr. walnuts
100 gr. black sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
4 tbsp melted butter
1 egg, beaten
4 tbsp white sugar
Preparation - Steps
In the blender, add the walnuts, raisins, black sugar and cinnamon, and bring the mixture to a pulp. Prepare the rolls according to the instructions. Smear the rolls with the egg and sprinkle with the sugar. Bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 180˚C for 40 – 45 min.
For the rolls:
Spread one sheet on the kitchen worktop. Smear with 2 tbsp butter and spread half the mixture on top.
Fold into a roll starting from the larger side. Continue in the same way with the second sheet and the remaining ingredients.
Carve each roll on one side in 15 slices, taking care not to cut the roll, leaving the other side intact at a distance of approx. 1 cm. Take the first slice from the right side, place it horizontally in a baking pan, taking care not to cut it off from the remaining roll; place the remaining slices, one after the other, clockwise, forming a roll, joining the last slice with the first.
