Fried Small Cheese Pies with Black Cumin

Ingredients

For 24 small cheese pies:
1 package KANAKI Chilled COUNTRY STYLE Filo Pastry
250 g grated feta cheese
100 g grated parmesan cheese
150 g grated manouri cheese
3 eggs
½ tsp ground cumin
2 tbsp nigella seeds
100 g melted butter (for brushing the pastry)
Sunflower oil (for frying)

Preparation - Steps

Place the feta, manouri, parmesan, cumin, and nigella seeds in a bowl. Lightly beat the eggs, add them to the cheese mixture, and mix well.

Once your filling is ready, follow the steps below to shape the cheese pies. Heat the sunflower oil and fry the pies until golden. Drain on absorbent paper and serve.

To make Triangles:
Unroll the filo sheets on your work surface and cut them lengthwise into 4 strips.

Take one strip of pastry and brush it with melted butter. Place a spoonful of filling at one end of the strip. Fold the pastry over the filling, forming a triangle.

Continue folding in a triangular shape until you reach the end of the strip. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients.
