Halloumi cheese
Ground beef
Oregano
Onion

Preparation - Steps
For the filling, mix the ground beef with the grated halloumi, finely chopped onion, and garlic. Add oregano, paprika, cumin, nutmeg, and salt, and knead the mixture until well combined.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into three horizontal strips. Place a line of the filling down the center of each strip. Brush the edges with a beaten egg and carefully roll the pastry to form cylinders. Then, cut each cylinder into four equal pieces.
Place the meat pies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, brush them with egg wash, and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
These meat pies with halloumi make a great appetizer or snack and are best served warm or at room temperature.
