Thawing Instructions :
Before using the product, place it in the chiller compartment of your refrigerator from the previous night to thaw gradually, or let it thaw at room temperature for at least 2 hours. Always thaw Filo Pastry in its sealed packaging. Do not try to unfold Filo Pastry that is not completely defrosted because it might tear apart. Open the packaging when you are ready to use the Thick Filo Pastry and always keep it covered with a damp towel during the preparation of your recipe so that it will not lose its moisture.
Instructions of Use:
The filo sheets are separated from each other by plastic film. Use the plastic film to separate and transfer the filo pastry sheets easily, without tearing them and getting messy. To make a country-style Filo Pie, start by brushing some olive oil on your tray. Using the plastic film, transfer the filo sheet to the tray and flip it inside it. Remove the plastic film and spread some oil on the sheet. Follow the same procedure for the other two filo sheets. Pour your filling on top of them. Trim the filo pastry that sticks out of your baking tray and turn the edges inwards laying them on the surface of the filling. Add the remaining filo sheets using the same procedure, spreading olive oil in between. Spread some olive oil on the top filo sheet. Trim the filo sheets that stick out from the tray and push their edges inwards all around creating a cover for your filling. Score the top sheets in square pieces. Bake according to your recipe's instructions.
