The Lazy Cook’s Bougatsa (Greek custard pie)

Ingredients

450 gr. KANAKI EXTRA FINE FILO Pastry
250 gr. butter
6 eggs
400 gr. creme fraiche
½ cup black sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 pinch salt

For serving:
Powdered sugar and cinnamon

Preparation - Steps

First open the package of the Filo Pastry Gourmet with butter & eggs. Take one sheet and pleat it like a fan or make pleats with the various sheets. Place them in a baking pan, one next to the other. Pour the melted butter all over. Bake the sheets at 200°C for 15-20 min, until golden brown.
In a bowl, whisk the eggs, creme fraiche, black sugar cinnamon, cinnamon and salt. Pour over the baked sheets in the baking pan. Return the pie to the oven and bake for approx. 25 min until the cream thickens and turns slightly golden brown.
Once you take the pie out of the oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
