Ingredients
1 KANAKI Thin Pizza Base
150 g chicken breast fillet
3 tbsp BBQ sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
½ tsp dried thyme
50 g grated mozzarella
½ red pepper, cut into thin strips
Optional toppings:
50 g black olives, pitted
50 g crumbled feta cheese
Red onion, thinly sliced
Preparation - Steps
Boil the chicken breast fillet in lightly salted water for 12–15 minutes, until fully cooked.
Drain well and place it in a large bowl.
Add the BBQ sauce, salt, pepper and thyme. Shred using a hand mixer until it becomes pulled chicken.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the pizza base.
Add the mozzarella and the red pepper strips.
Optionally, add olives, crumbled feta, red onion or any other toppings of your choice.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until the base is crispy and the cheese has melted.
Serve hot, cut into slices and enjoy.
